Herbs were the name of the game for our second and third weeks of the Growing Food Growing Together family program. Jennifer Jefferson taught us that we eat with our eyes, preparing a beautiful salad chock full of colors and flavors. The following week our WYG “herb ladies” Sophie Fredrickson and Vreni Peters invited the families to try something new, experimenting with herb combinations over mugwart soba noodles.

Keep your eye out for photos from last Saturday with former WYG program director Kim Rush Lynch, who loaded us up with creative ideas for how to incorporate more delicious and nutritious greens into our diets.
