On a sunny morning in October, the WYG staff and twenty Seed to Supper campers made our way across town to visit the White House Kitchen Garden.

Two White House chefs led us through a tour, which also included a meeting of the White House beekeepers. The garden looked great and the children were so excited to actually be on the grounds of the South Lawn. Check out our blog for a more detailed account!

 We really applaud the First Lady's efforts to draw attention to the connection between our health and where our food comes from. Here's to more fresh fruits and veggies on the plates of children all across America!
