Garden Party Potluck
celebrating the garden... in the garden!
Washington Youth Garden is continuing its 45th year celebration with a brunch potluck at the lawn by and in the Youth Garden on June 25, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This event will include fresh brunch dishes and beverages featuring herbs, fruits, and vegetables grown in the Demonstration Garden.
Bring your favorite garden recipes for others to sample and enjoy, all the while swapping recipes, stories, and gardening techniques. From there we will spend the late morning to early afternoon eating, laughing, and celebrating the Washington Youth Garden’s forty-five years of history and evolution. In addition to your potluck dish, please bring a sliding scale donation (whatever you can give) that will contribute to the success of our garden and programs.
The theme of this event is all about getting into the gardening spirit, so dress with the garden in mind! Bring a picnic basket with plates, bowls, and cutlery, and beach chairs or blankets to sit on. Potluck dishes with ingredients from your own garden are highly encouraged!
R.S.V.P. by emailing email@example.com or through the event's Facebook page. If you have any questions, please call 202.245.2709.
